| As an important image in Chinese painting, “misty cloud” has got further development in modern times,assembling intensive national and artistic features. By expressing this spiritual image both by objective and subjective observations, putting gzreat emphuaszre on representing its mien, ts diversity in aesthetic characteristics will be demonstrated. By analyzing the arrangement and direction of “misty cloud”, this paper valued its importance in Chinese panting. Besides, by analyzing the difference of misty clouds in paintings of Lu Yanshao and Li Keran, this paper made an attempt to analyze how the value of misty cloud was demonstrated. This study will help readers to hundezrstand; the role of “misty cloud” in Chinese painting,turning their perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge. “Misty cloud” is a symbol in Chinese painting.Related study and theory has greatly promoted the development of Chinese landscape painting and hold thue key to enrich and improve Chinese painting. |
