In recent years, the outbound tourism has thrived in the mainland of China. Due to the year 2016 is Sino-US tourism year, more and more travelers come to visit America, and Yellowstone National Park become the preference with fascinating geothermal wonders. It is the purpose of tourism text translation to arise potential travelers' interest and persuade them to take action. Under the guidance of skopos theory, the authoress attempts to embody the aesthetic function or vocative function through tourism text translation, in order to increasing travelers' yearn for travel destination.The report is based on the E-C translation practice of the scenic spots introduction of the Yellowstone National Park. It consists of five parts: 1)Introduction: the authoress introduces the background, purpose and meaning of the translation practice; 2)Preparation before translation: the authoress reviews and learns the systematic knowledge of skopos theory which plays a guiding role in translation practice. The authoress must study the features and functions of tourism text, in order to obtain high-quality translation; 3)Case study: the authoress pays more attention on the case study. the authoress chooses some examples with aesthetic function or vocative function for further study in order to figure out how to translate natively; 4)Proofreading: self-proofreading combined with outside school teacher's proofreading for a better translation; 5)Conclusion: Through many times' retrospection on the translation, the authoress tries to conclude the difficult and relevant solution.
