The group of adverb of manner of “ganjin” category in this paper includes the following five words: “ganjin” “gankuai” “ganmang” “lianmang” “jimang”. “ganjin” is being representative because of its highest frequency of use. This dissertation discusses the group of adverb of manner of “ganjin” category in three conceptual domains:content domain,epistemic domain and speech act domain,and combines related theories to explore the differences between members in meaning,function and pragmatic distribution. The paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the preface,which deals with these issues:the background and meaning of the topic, the current reseaech on the “ganjin”category and the three conceptual domains,the determination of the object,the introduction of the main content of this thesis,and focusing on the related theoretical principle and conception.At last,it points out the research method and the sources of language data.The second chapter and third chapter analyze the three conceptual domains distribution and the meaning of “ganjin”,“gankuai”, “ganmang”,“lianmang” and “jimang”. At the same time we explore the feature of “ganjin” category in different domains from following aspects:syntactic function,semantic feature,characteristics of the sense,pragmatics environment and so on.The fourth chapter summarizes the three conceptual domains distribution of “ganjin” category,and discusses if they have a positive effect on a certain domain and which domain they are inclined to distribute in.Then the article explores if the members of “ganjin” category can exchange from the perspective of three conceptual domains.The fifth chapter concludes the main content and points out the innovation and directions for further research of this paper.
