With the continuous development of information technology,people receive all kinds of information everyday,which leads to people physically and mentally tired.In this situation,which makes love the way of receiving information happily.Print advertising which is as the most common form of information dissemination,the quality related to the public's acceptance of the information directly,which requires the further improvement of the print advertisement's quality.The cartoon image takes its own advantage as the print ad's design element,which can satisfy the emotion value and commercial value of the print advertisement.In this topic,after studying on a large number of relevant literature,the research on the emotional performance and commercial value in the print ads is less,and research's significance is quite needed.Based on the combination of theoretical and practical methods,this topic firstly makes an overview of the basic knowledge of cartoon image,and puts forward the relationship between the print advertisement and cartoon image.Secondly,the paper expounds the design strategy of cartoon image in the print advertisement,which is to improves the quality of cartoon image design in the print advertisement.Thirdly,the emotional expression of the advertising audience,the characteristics of the emotional expression of the cartoon image in the print ads are summarized as well as the deficiencies of the combination of the features and the significance and the application.At last,the application of cartoon image which is generated in print advertisement and the concrete embodiment of the commercial value are analysised,and also explained the cartoon image in different designs in the specific application, makes the print ad realize the bidirectional object of emotion satisfaction and commercial value.By the analysis and summary of the emotional expression of cartoon image in the print advertisement,we expect to bait the effect to the advertising workers and bring positive effects to other people.
