Research On The Art Of Interactive Installation Based On Sound

Under the background of digital media art,interactive installation art and sound art are more and more combined to be used in music field, architecture field, landscape field,performance field,environmental field and so on. This paper sets about analyzing the concept, characteristic, type and application about this issue from its historical development and actual cases,and finally illustrates the future direction of it.This paper explore the combined applications of interactive installation art and sound art in the context of digital media era mainly from sound art part. Firstly, this paper illustrates the concept and historical development of sound interactive installation art, and analyses the characteristics and relations of sound art and interactive installation art. Then it starts to study the reason why we would like to add the sound art to interactive installation art and the process of combination of sound art and interactive installation art.
