In nearly a past decade, the interdisciplinary research method based on both interpreting and psychology has become a key point in the research of the interpretation. Many scholars have devoted to studying interpreting from different angles of psychology and its relationship with the performance of interpreting, such as the correspondence of the Interpretive Theory and interpreting theory. However, few studies have involved the relationship between interpreting anxiety and interpreting performance, also failed to put forward a systematic measurement standard of interpreting anxiety. In this regard, there has been some researches focusing on the causes and levels of interpreting anxiety. These researches not only proved the existence of different levels of interpreting anxiety, but verifies the relationship between different levels of interpreting anxiety and interpreting performance. Based on those research achievements, the present author uses questionnaire, video analysis, recording and interview to make a further analysis, whether different degrees of interpreting anxiety show different performances in the process of interpreting, and sums up the causes of anxiety. This study proved that the study of interpreting anxiety level owns high credibility; both high and low anxiety hinder the interpreting performance while the middle level do the opposite. Compared with the previous researches, the author focus on the interpreting anxiety in the classroom, make an in-depth analysis of the reasons that cause interpreting anxiety in class, students put forward countermeasures and some Suggestions on the classroom teaching of interpreting. Here, the author hopes to provide a new perspective for the research of interpreting anxiety through this article, and some purposeful suggestions for interpreting class in the future.
