The late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China was a special era,and the thought,value,culture and social system had changed greatly compared with the past.Those literati who were the officials in the late Qing Dynasty,because of the chaos of war to fear,pain,in order to survive,they had to think what kind of attitude should they take to face the cruel reality in the social changing society? Of course,different people choose different ways of life.However,because of the cruelty of war,will also be a product of the Times.Adherents of the Qing dynasty literati in favor has become a social group,gradually withdrew from the historical mainstream.Today,people pay less attention to it.Therefore,these special social groups are gradually dust up.Liu Weilin(1867.11---1933.1)who was from Nancheng,Jiangxi province,and he deserve to concern in the group of adherents of the Qing Dynasty.This paper will have a research on the phenomenon of reason and to put it in the adherents of the Qing Dynasty under the literati group in disfavor.The first chapter is mainly about the life of Liu Weilin,from the initial study around the early achievements of his middle-aged official,because of corruption and political war in succession,later decided to leave official refuge and sold books in Shanghai;during the eleven years he lived in the sea,his calligraphy art reached a peak and has big influence at that time.The second chapter discusses the cause poem calligraphy and making friends,brought important influence to his life.The third chapter is the center of this article,the key analysis not book wind Lin,liu early because of the imperial examinations,influenced by the "pavilion pavilion body calligraphy",middle-aged study of su shi,huang tingjian and stone inscription rubbings,old age reform to the beauty of neutralization of Liu Shian more when it is in the love of buddhist philosophy and thinking.The fourth chapter,the influence of surrounding his calligraphy by influential during his lifetime to today's adherents of submerged in the late qing dynasty literati in such a trend.Phenomenon and reason of them is worth deep thinking and research,it is not only liu Lin not personal,but the late qing dynasty adherents group will face fell out of a cultural phenomenon.
