An Analysis On The Embodiment Of Northen Shannxi Regional Characteristics In Contemporary Oil Paintings

The inspiration for Art comes from life.Artistic Creation is influenced by diverse cultural background directly or indirectly.Oil painting has been introduced to China for more than 100 years from the west as an exotic and it differs from geographical environment and cultural background.Such as the painting based on minority people’s life in Tibet,Folk Customs of Loess Plateau of Northwest of Shannxi and the landscape painting of Guangxi,Sichuan,Yunnan Province ……In fact,many of these schools are differentiated according to the geographical differences.As one of the important factors that influence the creation of painting,the academic circles pay more and more attention to it.In this paper we take the regional characteristics of northern Shaanxi in contemporary oil painting as the main body of the study,and literature research method,image analysis,comparative demonstration and other methods have been used to research how can northern Shaanxi province’s landscape description be the main part of Chinese oil painting.Firstly,a strong regional characteristic of northern Shaanxi was proofed from the analyzing of theme,form of expression,spiritual connotation of the oil painting.Then,the paper reveals the value of regional characteristics of northern Shaanxi to the oil painting and also researched how the regional characteristics enriched the theme of Chinese oil painting,raised the deep aesthetic connotation of northwest region,and provides valuable practical enlightenment for the nationalization and localization of Chinese oil painting.At last,the future development of the regional characteristics of oil painting has been discussed in the paper.As science and technology is highly developed today,the process of scientific and technological change to make the time and space surpassed.So,the regionality has become the more and more rare material for the creation of art now.It is said that "from the nature and beyond the nature",All the oil painters should integrate into the nature and the people’s daily life to mining,discover and create beauty for the world.And add the traditional Chinese culture,regional culture into the oil painting creation.bring more of their own characteristics into Chinese oil painting.
