The Differences And Inspirations Between Chinese Graffiti And Western Graffiti

It has been more than 10 years when I started paint graffiti from 2005, As a graffiti writer, I started because of the curiosity of graffiti, with entering the world of graffiti, I gradually understand its history and those stories from many graffiti writers. There are many world famous artists after nearly forty years development of graffiti from the origin to today, there are also so many related books, images and information. Sorting out the relevant data in the past, I make the following simple analysis and comparison of Chinese graffiti and Western graffiti:1, The different background of Chinese graffiti and Western graffiti.2, The differences between Chinese graffiti writers and Western graffiti writers.3, The different creative motivations between Chinese graffiti writers and Western graffiti writers.4, Completely different policies and regulations of graffiti between China and Western countries.5, The different opinions of graffiti from the public between China and Western countries.Based on the those factors, I thinks that the loose policy is more conducive to the development of Chinese graffiti, there is no need to be in a hurry to success, there is no need to follow the policies and regulations of graffiti in Western world either. At the same time, as the Chinese graffiti writer, I believe that it is time to explore our own styles instead of following the Western graffiti styles. Only in that way, we may successfully create our own styles which have higher recognitions in the future.With limited time and energy, I can't make a specific rigorous feasibility comparative study, from this point of view, this article is more like a piece of a previous project, or a very early stage of the research.
