In tenth century,in the five generation times and in the southeast side of China,Wu Yue country,was good to protect its state and people,acknowledged allegiance to the central authority.The kings,extremely worship Buddhism,trying to revive the decline of the Dharma since the late Tang Dynasty,and built hundreds of temples in the territory,Zhejiang area consequently became a Buddhist paradise in south-east.Wu Yue country frequently built pagoda and Buddhist stone pillar in temple,but only less than twenty has left.By reading reference Ancient Local Chronicles,ancient notes,Jin Shi Chi(inscriptions on ancient bronzes and stone tablets),the investigation by European,Japanese and the Republic of China era,after the founding of the People's Republic of China survey data for decades,the writer roughly sorted out a catalogue of the pagoda and Buddhist stone pillar once built in the Wu Yue era.Based on the catalogue writer analys the basic shapes such as building types,plane,base,body and top of the Wu Yue pagoda and Buddhist stone pillar.And also analyzes their layout in temples,layout in the country,the distribution of time,and draw a map of Wu Yue pagoda and Buddhist stone pillar,which had ever existed in the history.
