A Study On The Yue Ware Porcelain Stove

The Yue Wareis one of the most famous kilns in ancient China,which has a long history of development.This paper is a study on the porcelain stove baked in the Yue kilns in different stages,Time from the Warring States Period to the Sui Dynasty "early Yue kiln" and Tang to the late Northern Song Dynasty "Yue kiln" ? There is a large number and a variety of the porcelain stove of the Yue kilns.As a special kind,the porcelain stove has its own features both in modeling and decorating.In modelling,porcelain stove is a Deep belly container In small quantities,More likely related with incense,or have a sacrifice,heating,Lavender smoked quilt,cooking and other functions.Based on the previous research,this paper takes the stoves that were excavated by archaeologists and the ones that spread in folk as the research object.First part is the statistics of the discovery in different historical periods of Yue kilns.The following part is the study on the basic types of the porcelain stoves of Yue kilns and makes a classification of the main types of them.Then a summary of the shape features of porcelain stoves will be make by a typological analysis.The third part is the study on the decoration of the porcelain stoves of Yue kiln.It discusses the color and some common decorative skills.The last part is the analysis of the functions of porcelain stove.The above is the main parts of this paper.
