A Study On The Running Script Of "The Taiwanese Standard Template Of Running Script"

"The Taiwanese standard template of running script " is a standard for handwriting in Taiwan.It reflects the features of Taiwanese running script and the efforts of the Taiwanese academy to regulate the characters.Besides,the predecessors' research about Taiwanese characters mostly focus on the printed font,there are few research on the handwritten font.Based on these reasons,we select "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " as the object of study,then use the comparative analysis and the literature research methods and other research methods to do some in-depth and meticulous research.This paper is divided into four parts:The first chapter is the overview of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script ",it introduces the background,style,character,research status and other basic situation of the "The Taiwanese standard template of running script ".Through this part,the reader can have a general understanding about "The Taiwanese standard template of running script ".The second chapter is the comparing part of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script ".We make a contrast between the running script of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " and Taiwanese standard regular script,running script of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " and running script of the mainland,regular script of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " and Taiwanese standard regular script.Through these statistics,we found that there are1442 differences words between the running script of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " and Taiwanese standard regular script,then compared with running script in mainland China,there are 624 same glyphs and 818 differences glyphs.And there are 46 different characters between regular script of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " and Taiwanese standard regular script.Through this part,we found that the writing of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " are very scratchy,and some of them are cursive script,so it should belong to the cursive script.The third part is the analysis of the causes of the differences between the running script of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " and running script of the mainland.Through the analysis,we found that these 208 different words can be divided into three categories.The first category is variant Chinese character system.There are 84 words belong to this system.The second category is cursive script system.There are 104 words belong to this system.The third category is the innovation of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script ".There are 20 words belong to this system.Through the analysis of this part of the study,It can be seen in the 208 words that half of them are belong to cursive script system,so this is also corroborated that the running script of "The Taiwanese standard template of running script " should belong to cursive script.The fourth chapter is the conclusion.The main conclusion of this paper issummarized,and the shortcomings also is pointed out.
