| Ru Xue Jing Wu is a book series compiled by Yu Dingsun and Yu Jing during the Southern Song Dynasty,which included six notes,namely Shi Lin Yan Yu Bian composed by Wang Yingchen,Yan Fan Lu and Kao Gu Bian by Cheng Dachang,Lan Zhen Zi Lu by Ma Yongqing,Men Shi Xin Hua by Chen Shan and Ying Xue Cong Shuo by Yu Cheng.Some features of such notes popular during the Song Dynasty were still preserved.The notes collected in Ru Xue Jing Wu fell into textual research.This was evidence that literary sketches during the Southern Song Dynasty were transforming to academic and textual researches.Ru Xue Jing Wu came as an important literature in studying notes during the Song Dynasty.The paper elaborated the version and circulation in the introductions,and summarized previous researches on the book as well as the notes included in the book.It made careful and detailed studies into the six notes included in the book in subsequent sections.Section I argued that Shi Lin Yan Yu Bian came as corrigendum to Shi Lin Yan Yu which played a significant role in the circulation of Shi Lin Yan Yu Bian.Besides.Section I analyzed the unique content features of Shi Lin Yan Yu Bian and highlighted the value of the book.Section ? focused mainly on Yan Fan Lu composed by Cheng Dachang and the book Kao Gu Bian.It began with studies on the version and circulation of the two books,especially the academic tendency revealed through the notes of Cheng Dachang which was seen as the important clue for the development of Song Dynasty textual research-oriented notes.At the end of Section ?,the paper probed into the literary creation philosophies for notes of Cheng Dachang based on his poems.Section III centered on Lan Zhen Zi Lu by Ma Yongqing.By studying his origin with Yuancheng school,it aimed to have a clear idea of his rigorous and careful attitudes during his creation of notes.Based on internal evidence,Section IV combed and verified the life stories and social intercourse of Chen Shan,the author of Men Shi Xin Hua.It clarified the prejudice in Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu,summarized the poetic thoughts embodied in Men Shi Xin Hua,and probed into Chen Shan's ideas on Confucius classics,history.Buddhism and Taoism reveled through the book.Section V studied Ying Xue Cong Shuo written by Yu Cheng.By combing the life stories of the author,the paper revealed another status of him-an important editor of the book Ru Xue Jing Wu.Besides,it studied the version and contents of Ying Xue Cong Shuo in which previous scholars have shown little interest.The paper ended by verifying the life stories of the editors involved in Ru Xue Jing Wu,based on Fujian local chronicles.This way,it expected to have a clear idea of the compiling process of Ru Xue Jing Wu and gain insight into the inclusion standards and purposes for Yu Dingsun,Yu Jing et.al to compile the first book series in China. |
