Shell Windows And The Research Of The Disease Causes In Coastal Areas

Shell-window ,a very precious intangible cultural heritage. is a kind of window refered to the use of shells with good light penetration and similar tradition of glass window. It is a legend that ancient Chinese coastal residents near the sea adapt to the nature, use the natural and the inprve their life. As an important role in traditional architectural decorationind it has practical and aesthetically function. However, Shell windows,which have great art,research and historical value as relics of society in history,have been all but forgotten and the technique is almost lost under the influence of morden industrialized production of the glass.Here, we carried out a detailed field investigation for the relic based on the review of many papers about Shell-window. We have found that the key factors that destroy Shell-window are discoloration, surface adhesives, cracks, flaking, partial breakage, holes, microbial diseases and human destruction . In this paper, we deal with the problem of the production materials of the shell window in the academic circles. By scanning electron microscope(sem), X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, X-ray diffraction analyzer, microscopic Raman spectrum analyzer, and other modern scientific instruments, we identified the Shell-windows' chemical composition, mineral composition and microstructure aspects of research. In addition, through the investigation of window-shells' coffin damage, shell analysis and environmental monitoring, we have summarized the factors of the damage and offer some advice on its exhibition of Shell-sindow. For the inadequacies of previous studies, we also need more in-depth study of future generations.Based on the research and discoveries,the writer provides theory evidence to diseases causes and that the raw material of them is shells of placuna through the study of composition, structure and properties of matter combining diseases analysis for laying a solid and scientific foundation.
