From the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895 to the beginning of twentieth Century,the crisis that China facing deepened further and the traditional idea about the relationship between social and individual has not adapted to the social development at that time.To save our nation,the bourgeois revolutionaries represented by Sun Yat-sen,established a new framework of group theory is used to deal with the interests of the nation and the country under the new situation.The theory is based on the idea of traditional group,combined with the modern western enlightenment include liberalism,democracy,equalitarianism,and the outstanding ideas of the reformers in china.The bourgeois revolutionaries strongly advocate gregarious that include country,social and morality of the group.In their perspective,group is the basis of individual survival as the relationship between National and national on survival.In the construction of individual,the bourgeois revolutionaries focus on the "individual" shape.Individual freedom is an important symbol to measure the independence of national character.The bourgeois revolutionaries advocate to awaking the consciousness on independence and human rights that involve liberty and equality,rights and obligations.In the construction of the gregarious,through education,law,morality,public opinion and other means,the bourgeois revolutionary construct a new value system--social egoism.National independence and people happiness were the bourgeois revolutionaries' desire.Despite,after the 1911 Revolution,they didn't realize their goals fully.But their new theory of the relationship between the group and the individual promoted the modernization of the Chinese people.Meanwhile,their thoughts are conducive to the construction of today's harmonious society.
