A Comparative Study Between The Ladies Painting Of Chinese Ming Dynasty And The Beauty Painting Of Japanese EDO

Effect of Chinese traditional art development of Japanese art in the process of performance are very active in the Ming Dynasty,the artistic style of the beauty painting in Japanese Ukiyo-e influenced by many Ming Dynasty artists such as Qiu Ying,Chen Hongshou etc,there is a close relationship between these two.Both Chinese traditional ladies painting and the beauty painting in Japanese Ukiyo-e,are the exhibition of classical art in the female subjects in the Oriental aesthetic.The environment of the ladies painting of Ming Dynasty and the beauty painting of Edo are very similar,they are all in their late feudal society,in the description of the woman theme is the secular characteristics different from their previous painting style,and also have many same points in the art language.Although the development of beauty painting is influenced by the ladies painting of the Ming Dynasty,it still presents the characteristics of the Japanese nation.In this thesis,the ladies painting of Ming Dynasty and the beauty painting of Edo are put together to carry out comparative analysis to explore the similarities and differences.The purpose of comparison is not to distinguish good or bad,but the choice and reinterpretation in the process,in which the ladies painting of Ming Dynasty influences the beauty paintings of Edo,that have different value orientations and aesthetic consciousness in the different nation spirit,put forward new thinkings for the development of modern female paintings.The thesis based on the comparative research method,using the research methods of changes,morphology,mutual interpretation and making comparison of Ming Dynasty and the beauty painting of Edo.First of all,seeking the factual basis of the relationship between the Chinese and Japanese art forms,to sort out the development of Chinese and Japanese women theme paintings,find out the relationship between the ladies painting of Ming Dynasty and the beauty painting of Edo by documents and image research,which are the prerequisite and basis for comparing of them.then,through morphological research to compare the similarities and differences between the two female characters in the choice of theme and aesthetic features,to analysis of the social environment in the development of the difference between artistic creation and individual experience of different influencing factors;analysis the social and cultural differences between the two groups and the social orientation of the female image,to find out theinfluence of the two deeper roots,the difference on ideology and culture and the inner influencing factors will be analyzed,in order to help understand the embodied in the artistic style of the different national characteristics;finally summed up the similarities and differences between them in the artistic language,what can we learn from the development of the Edo beauty painting,sorting out the enlightenment and reference of Chinese modern female painting.
