The name of “Chinese Humorous Literature” comes from The Literary Mind and Carving of written by Liu Xie.Liu Xie put “parodying hidden words” into the end of article with rhyme and it is regarded as a kind of literary style.Chinese Humorous Literature belongs to niche style among numerous ancient literary style.It originated from the pre-Qin and the Han Dynasty is a key period when Chinese Humorous Literature got full development.Compared with the pre-Qin,there were more works during the Han Dynasty and its style was also determined gradually.Including Dongfang Shuo's Da Ke Nan,Yang Xiong's Zhu Pin Fu and Ban Gu's Da Bin Xi all became the paragons for later generations to create Chinese Humorous Literature.What's more,its technique of expression was more mature and had an important influence on the creation of the later generations.The paper takes the Chinese Humorous Literature during the Han Dynasty as the research object.It sorts out these works systematically and discusses various aspects such as social politics,character psychology and utility value.The paper is divided into three parts:The first chapter discusses the origin of Chinese Humorous Literature and reviews its development condition during the pre-Qin and its influence on the Chinese Humorous Literature in the Han Dynasty.The second chapter explores the psychological demands while the Han literati writing them and the refracted social background by analyzing Chinese Humorous Literature texts in the Han Dynasty.Furthermore,it evaluates the value and status of the Chinese Humorous Literature in the Han Dynasty from the aspects of inheritance and influence in terms of the scale,literary style,style characteristics and creation technique.Its purpose is to testify the Chinese Humorous Literature of the Han literati is the paragon for later generations and the Han Dynasty period is the mature period and key period of the Humorous Literature's development in the history.The third chapter focuses on the discussion about the folk parodying word in the Han Dynasty period.It reveals the difference and relationship between the incisiveness and humor of folk parodying word and the expressions of unrecognized for their talent and their feelings in literati's parodying word.Which both verify the brilliance of the Chinese Humorous Literature in the Han Dynasty.
