In our times, science fiction was called "Cinderella".This style has been suffering varying degrees of discrimination and demeaning.Meanwhile, scholars who interested in science fiction when nor cease defending when people look down on it.But the effect is little, simply because everyone in science fiction to find the cause, and rarely involved stylistic prejudice itself. We try to speak in defense of science fiction,.This article attempts to put a thought, which turn from science fiction, transferred to the reading process of science fiction.Transform the value issues into literary reading problems,to find out the root of stylistic prejudice.British scholar C.S.Lewis made a pair of concepts to describe the two ways of reading literary works:"use" and "receive".The former is self-centered,I used to read, the latter are text-centered,opening admission of reading.Based on this theory as the Foundation,we are trying to prove that:a stylistic prejudice is derived from the former,literature-using.Not only that, but with this kind of attitude to read literature, could lead to disastrous consequences.Stylistic prejudice,is really just a symptom of that catastrophe.Paper recite the three literary manner:"novel-centered","faith of culture" and "humanities research."These three literary use,are intertwined, not obliquely bringing science fiction to the depths of prejudice. Not only is science fiction, there are numerous literary works in modern society is suffering from a broader, deeper levels of bias, which is the modern unprecedented "literature-use".Behind the literature-use,is the lack of ethics of modern reading.Lack of ethics not only buried in literary value, the consequences may be more than a stylistic bias.
