Directed forgetting is a conscious forgetting of a particular learning material. If the subject remembers the corresponding item or forgets the corresponding item according to the requests of the instruction, the directed forgetting effect is produced, which follows the cost-benefit principle. The essentially difference between this experiment and the previous study is that it uses auditory instead of vision and analyzes whether there is a directed forgetting effect in the auditory channel and its mechanism. The purpose of the study was :(1)The lexical method was used to study the auditory channel under different emotional states, and the recognition of the neutral emotion data in the vocabulary 1 and vocabulary 2 was tested to analyze whether the auditory channel can produce the same directed forgetting effect as the visual(2)In the calm emotional state, the study of the recognition results of three different emotional learning materials(positive, neutral and negative)is carried out to analyze whether there is an impact on the auditory directed forgetting effect of different learning materials.(3)In the different emotional states(inter-test design),test the timely test group(vocabulary method research paradigm),the main memory group(vocabulary method to increase the word table 2 memories and repeat)and interference group(Vocabulary method to increase the interference,to prevent the subjects on the word table 2 repeat the exclusion of recency effects),whether the three groups of the neutral emotional material exists directed forgetting effect. At the same time,it analyzes the achievements of the timely test group and the interference group, and studies whether there is still a directed forgetting effect after stopping the subjects, and further analysis of the mechanism of the auditory-directed forgetting effect.(4)to study whether there is interaction between the different emotional states and the different emotional learning materials on the auditory-directed forgetting effect. Methods: This experiment uses 3(positive emotional state, negative emotional state, neutral emotional state)× 3(positive learning materials, negative learning materials, neutral learning materials)mixed experimental design,2 Independent variables, different emotional state is the between subjects variable, different emotions of learning materials are within subjects variable. In the same emotional state, subjects were tested with three different treatments. The dependent variable are the recognition results of vocabulary 1 and vocabulary 2 in three different experimental groups. When the score of vocabulary 2 is obviously better than the result of vocabulary 1,the directed forgetting effect is produced.A total of 150 subjects(each grade in average),positive emotion group, neutral emotion group and negative emotion group were selected for each class in Sichuan Normal University. The data were analyzed and the invalid data and extreme data were removed, there are 33 subjects in the positive group,40 subjects are in neutral emotion group,35 subjects in negative emotion group, and the total valid subjects are 108 subjects.Results:1,the auditory sense of the channel has obvious directed forgetting effect.2,in the auditory channel, the recognition of different emotional materials have significant differences in the results of neutral emotional material the most significant, and produce auditory-directed forgetting effect;positive and negative emotional materials does not exist in the auditory-directed forgetting effect.3,the mechanism of the directed forgetting effect of the auditory channel is to extract the inhibition.4,due to the differences in sensory channels, different emotional states have no difference in the effect of auditory directed forgetting effect;there is no interaction between emotional state and emotional material.
