The Research Of Painting’s Brushwork Of Zao Wou-ki

Zao Wou-ki is the modern artist in the twentieth Century,whose works are well known all over the world.Under the influence of Chinese and Western cultures,the oil paintings in later period show the beauty of artistic conception in eastern cultures.Discussing the painting’brushworks of Zao Wou-ki,so that to get the conclusion about the value of his painting,and thinking about the Chinese and Western cultures from the level of brushwork behind his painting.Brushworks belongs to the basic language of painting which have a variety of artistic effects.The content of abstract painting often directly shows painting basic elements point,line,surface.The pure painting language can directly reflect the artist’s intention and aesthetic taste.Art concept in different period promote the presentation of different form of painting.The techniques which combine Chinese and Western together is influenced by the nature of culture.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which is mainly about the topic selection,pointing out the purpose,significance and main difficulties of the research;Based on the background and research status,lead forward the author’s thinking;The second part expounds the extension of painting’s brushworks of Zao Wu-ki.One point is the extension of painting’s form,another point is the thinking of Zao Wou-ki on artistic point of view.The combination of concept and form can fully explore Zao Wou-ki’s aesthetic sense and other correlations;The third part systematically analyses Zao Wou-ki’s paintings from the specific analysis of the formation and production of his brushworks;The fourth part summarizes the characteristics of Zao Wou-ki’s brushworks;The fifth part focuses on the two points.The first one is about the formation of painting’s style of Zao Wou-ki,and distinguish the possibility of brushwork between the conscious and unconscious.Secondly,through Zao Wou-ki’s painting,especially from the concept and production analysis,lead to some significance and inspiration for modern painting.With the background of Chinese and Western culture,Zao Wou-ki finally developed the different ways and concept of art,produced different brushworks’ form;The different brushworks show different artistic meaning,which is also associated with Chinese and Western cultures.In the paper,through the artist’s own artistic conception,thinking,to explore theabstract language of painting.The first one is about the brushworks’ language in Zao Wou-ki’s painting;The other one is that the discussion of the pure form of beauty can be beneficial to the creative thinking of various form,and theconsider the relationship between cultures and painting’s forms.
