National culture,in my opinion,is the fundamental that every vocal worker and every vocalist should base their job on.The world culture is found only in the national culture,so goes a well-known and common saying in music world.Definitely,it is one of the most basic requirements for any musician that one should adhere to national culture;that is also In line with the point of view on Chinese vocal by TIE LIN JIN,one of the most famous vocal educators in China.On the basis of inheriting and carrying forward the fine tradition of Chinese national vocal music,one should also seriously learn the singing skills in Western bel canto,and bring them together and understand thoroughly.Furthermore,one is also supposed to practically adjust his or her singing method to the different works of China and foreign countries,so as to represent perfectly the music works of different countries in different styles and languages.Therefore,the songs I choose for this concert contain not only Chinese art songs and traditional folk songs,but also the works from four different countries in different languages.
