An Analytical Studv On The Music Style And Preformance Of The Premiere Rhapsodie

Achille-Claude Debussy,the originator of "Impressionist",is one of the most outstanding composers in French from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.In his lifetime,he wrote numerous orchestral,piano music,chamber music etc.,which is far different from the style of classical music.There are no precise structures,melody and logic of classical music in his music.In this paper,we take the "Premiere rhapsodie" as the object of this study.A comprehensive analysis focuses on the background,composing methods,music style and several aspects that we need to pay attention when playing.Playing methods of clarinet are discovered and illustrated emphatically to express the music based on a comprehensive understanding.This paper consists of the introduction,the first to the third chapter,and the conclusion.Firstly,the history of clarinet is described in the introduction.Life of Achille-Claude Debussy and his artistic experience is explained in the first chapter.The background of the "Premiere rhapsodie" and the development of impressionist music is discussed in the second chapter.In the last chapter,we discussed that how to interpret and express the music by playing.
