A Brief Discussion On Singing Features Of Northern Shaanxi Xin Tian You Through Analyzing Three Representative Folk Songs

Xin Tian You,also named Shun Tian You,is one of the folk songs of Han nationality,which is spread in Northwest China.Also,it is one of notable features of Northern Shaanxi Folk Songs,which play a key role in the long standing and varied Chinese culture.With sonorous and twisty tunes,Xin Tian You is featured by lyrical style of Northern Shaanxi Folk Songs,and the characteristic that Chinese Folk Song always be derived from work and live of labouring people.Furthermore,Xin Tian You has a conspicuous feature of lyric art named "mood-associating",by which Northern Shaanxi people can express their desire for a beautiful life in a romantic way with a high and low sentence structure.This article involve three widespread representative folk songs of Xin Tian You named "Lan hua hua","Grazing herds","Lei dan dan pao zai sha hao hao lin",and investigate the singing characteristics of Northern Shaanxi Xin Tian You through comparing the different singing ways between traditional Xin Tian You and modern national vocal music singing.This paper is divided into three parts including introduction,main body and conclusion.Part one is to introduce the meaning of this article.As part two,the main body is divided into three chapters:in chapter one,we classify Chinese Folk Song and then induce the conception of Xin Tian You,also Xin Tian You are reviewed in term of its origin and development,as well as current status;chapter two is to analyze the singing characteristics of Northern Shaanxi Xin Tian You by investigating the music structure,lyric and singing characteristics of three representative songs of Northern Shaanxi Xin Tian You;chapter three is followed to summarize the artistic characteristics of Northern Shaanxi Xin Tian You in terms of music structure,lyric,singing characteristics and the prospect of Xin Tian You..Part three is to summarize the whole research of this article.
