Local Theme Piano Works Research Of Northwest China

The northwestern piano works are important components of Chinese piano works,and they are also typical examples of piano works in Chinese style.Composers gathered music materials from the national folk music of China's northwestern region,by doing so they not only inherited the excellent traditional music of China,piano,which is a multi-voice instrument,has also been used to introduce brand new artistic vitality and expressive force to the national folk music that detached from the aesthetic taste of contemporary people.The piano works based on the folk music of minority nationality in the northwestern region are taken as research objects,and by summarizing the historical development process of northwestern piano works,this paper is aimed to study their development trend and analyze the features of creation techniques.Meanwhile,the problems regarding the cultural fusion between different minority nationality music are also discussed.First,the general situation of the northwestern piano works(hereinafter referred to as works)is highlighted,including the historical development process,status,and cause.After a brief analysis,the published works are classified with forms and some are selected to be analyzed in terms of march structure and musical development.Next,the cultural fusion between Chinese and western music is elaborated through the analysis of melody techniques,tonality&harmony,musical structure,national tempos and polyphonic techniques.Furthermore,the relationship between northwest minority nationality and Chinese music development is cited as the prerequisite for discussing the music culture of minority nationality,which enabled us to focus on the cultural fusion between different minority nationality music that is included in these works.Eventually,this paper will provide meaningful conclusions and experiences to the creation and playing of the northwestern piano works as well as the tasks related to the northwestern national folk music.
