Learning adaption is an important issue during adolescents' development in school.If they do not have ability of adapting,directly it will affect their scores of exams.And there are more than 20%secondary school students who cannot make they adapt the change of learning environment to grow well in China.If this status has kept for a long time,it will cause some physical problems in study,life and personal relationship and so on.Junior 1 students are in the core link-up period from Primary School to Middle School and are also in the earlier stage of adolescence,Good study adaption will form a connect link between the preceding and the following for junior 1 students in their school lives.This study on the learning adaptability focuses on the theoretical investigation,the comprehensive education intervention over the years;however,the studies about individual case intervention of learning adaption are few.In order to enrich the researches about learning adaptation,this dissertation searched learning adaptability of student Zhou from Grade 7 by individual case intervention.It was divided into five sections.In the first part,it introduced the works and some researches about learning adaptability before.In the second section,the writer got to know completely the basic situation of Zhou through observation method,interviewing method to his parents and teachers.At the same time this student accepted Raven's Progressive Matrices and learning adaptability test to be assessed and diagnosed rather correctly.And it found that he had normal intellect but some learning adaptive problems.Thirdly,the writer made corresponding plans and interventions to improve the student's adaption ability based on teenagers' development characters of physical and mental and then his marks.In the fourth part,the writer compared two exams results of the student and the twice AAT results before and after intervention.At last,the intervention not only had an effect to improve the student's grades,but also made his learning attitude change from careless to be careful and made his learning habit be concentrative and get good at thinking.It helped him find more learning methods about English and math which were adaptive to him.Further more,it enhanced Zhou's learning adaptability by which he could prepare himself for bigger tasks ahead in middle school and during adolescence.
