The Analysis Of The Creation Character Of "Erhu Rhapsody" Created By Jianmin Wang

The Erhu is the well know national music instrument. In the long development history, the performance level of the Erhu is continuously improved and the new works are created massively. From the Race Horse, Shanxi Opera Capriccio and Sanmenxia Fantasia in the 1960s and 1970s to the The Great Wall Capriccio, A Flower and Newly Married in the 1980s,the Erhu expressiveness is greatly enriched. When exploring the national music instrument, the new generation composers take the Erhu music as the main music to absorb the western music creation skills so as to create the music works with obvious personal characters, which means that the Erhu development is diversified and steps into the modern development path. The Erhu Rhapsody created by Jianmin Wang is one of the best among all new emerging Erhu works. The high music creating skills and obvious national characters grant Jinmin Wang’s works high artistic value and appreciation value. Jianmin Wang once emphasized that the most essence element for the music works is the melody, from which it can be seen that Jianmin Wang pays high attention on the melody element in his music creation. Therefore, in the essay, four Erhu Rhapsodies created by Jianmin Wang are analyzed to find out the melody characters and provide reference for the future music creation.In the essay, the analysis is carried out in the following three aspects:Firstly, the creation and application of artificial scales and the core tones in four Erhu Rhapsodies are analyzed.
