| In daily work,study and life,we will accept a large of the chaos of information constantly;however,there are a lot of information that we don’t need.The ability of human visual processing is limited,how to choose the key information for improve the efficiency of visual search becomes very important.A large number of studies have shown that contextual cuing information can be utilized to promote the visual search,which is to use the same space layout information guide visual attention point to the target position to promote faster visual search,this is contextual cuing effect.In addition,rewards can direct attention to target more quickly,affect the efficiency of visual search,improve concentration,and facilitate visual search.There have been a lot of research on the relationship between the reward and visual search,and found that reward has a promoting effect on visual search.But there are seldom researches which related to the relationship between reward and contextual cuing effect,even so,the few research also suggests the relationship between reward information and contextual cuing effect.Based on this,this research proposed the experimental design,as follows:Experiment 1 discuss the basic information of the contextual cuing effect,we use a2(scene type: repetitive scene vs.novel scene)×4(epoch:1 、 2 、 3 、 4)Subjects in experimental design,verify the previous research results,and laid the foundation of the next research.Experiment 2 use 2(scene type: repetitive scene vs.novel scene)×4(reward type: high reward(10)low reward(5)no reward(0)punishment(-5))×4(epoch:1、2、3、4)Subjects in experimental design,not only analyze the contextual cuing effect of the reward and punishment information,but also discuss the influence of different level of reward for information to contextual cuing effect.Experiment 3 use(scene type: repetitive scene vs.novel scene)×2(start type: reward start vs.no reward start)×4(epoch: 1、2、3、4)Subjects in experimental design,the relationship between the reward startup and contextual cuing effect are discussed in this paper.Get the following conclusion:1.The participants can use contextual cuing information to promote the visual search.that is to say,the same space layout information can guide the visual attention point to the target position,promote visual search more faster,context clues to promote visual search.Therefore,it can prove the existence of contextual cuing effect.2.The study of contextual cuing effect has the implicit nature.In other words,the participants did not know the repetition of scene information,but can use the repeated information for visual search.3.The reward information related to the scene of contextual cuing effect has regulating effect,the high level of reward of contextual cuing effect is greater than the influence of the trend of low reward,the edge of the significant are difference;Punishment information can also guide the attention of the participants,improve the contextual cuing effect.4.Under the visual search experimental paradigm,whether or not to join the reward,contextual cuing effect will exist.However,reward start has the regulating effect to contextual cuing effect,can improve the contextual cuing effect on visual search,and enhance the efficiency of target search... |
