Nowadays, science and technical text and its translation play an important role in natural and social science. Biomedical Sciences, as a new discipline, covers the field of cancer, stem cell, molecular biology and cell biology. It has a significant impact on accelerating the development of medical science and enhancing public health.The author selected eight articles about the researches in biomedical science which have the outstanding characteristic of EST ( English for science and technology ), such as rigorous language, compact structure,logic closeness.Also, the author chooses to be under the guidance of Nida's Functional Equivalence Theory, and hope that the target readers can understand the translation as the source-text readers understand the source text.During the process of translation, the author uses four methods to deal with the translation of long and difficult English sentences, and make examples and explanations one by one. The main example comes from Stem Cells Grown into 3-D Lung-in-a-dish, Swarms of Magnetic Bacteria Could be Used to Deliver Drugs to Tumors and Functional Human Tissue-engineered Liver Generated from Stem, Progenitor Cells.The translation of long and difficult English sentences into Chinese has always been a challenge for a translator. In this paper, the author take the translation of some articles about the researches in biomedical science as an example to further explore the skills in translating long and difficult English sentences.
