Research And Application Of Data Mining In College English Teaching And Evaluation

With the emergence of "Internet +", all walks of life have undergone enormous changes. "Internet + education" has become a development trend, which brings new opportunities and challenges for college English teaching and learning. Through the online English learning platform for teaching and learning, the use of data mining technology for student learning data analysis and the establishment of relevant models to explore the English examination and the correlation between the various elements of student learning and teacher teaching has important value. The author has carried on the thorough research to this.This paper first describes the current situation of data mining and college English teaching both at home and abroad, and puts forward the research content and research methods of this subject. Secondly, the theory foundation of this study is introduced, and the function, flow and common machine learning model of data mining are introduced. At last,the students 'image and analysis are constructed by the data produced by BUPT undergraduates, and the related attributes and learning habits of the students can be learned through the user's portraits. It also provides the basis for the later experimental design. The paper uses the logistic regression model, the enhanced decision tree model and the fusion model of the two models to predict the situation of students 'passing, and analyzes the factors that influence the passing of the students'examinations according to the prediction results.It is hoped that through the research of this paper, it can provide valuable reference for college English teaching and learning, and help teachers and students to target teaching and learning.
