In this study,from the perspective of schema theory,the writer tries to make different training plans for the trainees according to different genres of articles,especially focuses on personalized training of reading strategies and ways,so as to make them have effective reading strategies and ways suitable for themselves,from which their autonomous abilities,attitudes,and interests in reading can be improved.In this study,the writer adopts the method of an experimental research to explore the impact of fast reading training based on schema strategy to improve participants' reading techniques and strategies awareness,reading speed and reading comprehensive rate as well as autonomous reading abilities.Basic process of the experiment is as follows: The researcher formulates specific programs for fast reading training on the basis of giving full consideration to language level of the experimental group members,and selects different passages for trainees to complete reading tasks,but conducts routine reading teaching ways to the controlled group.Then the researcher carries through both quantitative and qualitative investigations of the experimental and controlled groups' pre/post-test changes in reading techniques and strategy awareness,reading speeds,reading comprehension rates,reading attitudes,reading interests,autonomous reading abilities,by collecting quantitative data through questionnaire surveys and observations and qualitative data through interviews,learning logs as well as self-evaluation forms.Then the researcher employs SPSS22.0 to make descriptive statistical analysis and T-test differential analysis towards quantitative data,in the meantime,conducts qualitative word analyses towards the qualitative data so as to verify the reliabilities of the quantitative findings.The results of the study indicate that there are significant differences in reading techniques and strategy awareness,reading speed,reading comprehensive rate,reading attitudes,reading interests,autonomous reading abilities from the experimental group before and after the experiment.Although the controlled group has improved to some extent in these aspects,but there are no significant differences before and after the experiment,moreover the raised numerical values are obviously lower than the experimental group's.Therefore,those results of the experimental study can prove that fast reading training based on schema strategy has a significant effect on improving subjects' reading techniques and the level of using reading strategies,reading speed,reading comprehension,and attitudes,interests,autonomous abilities in reading of English learning as well.The results of the experimental study verify the experimental hypotheses.Enlightenment from the successful training are as follows: Reading techniques and strategies play very important roles in improving students' reading speed and comprehensions,so teachers of foreign language reading should train students' consciousness of employing reading strategies and techniques while teach them to students so as to urge students to form a strategy system that conform to their own learning styles in a long period of time,also to reflect and evaluate the validity of using strategies,from which their reading techniques and strategies can be enriched and expanded.In the meantime,teachers should give full considerations to students' language level to choose suitable reading materials,and T+1 model as norm of controlling the degree of difficulties for reading materials is a good way to advocate.
