Study On City Sculpture Of Harbin Under Regional Culture

With the growing improvement of urban sculpture related system management, the public are paying more and more attention on it. The number of urban sculptures is increasing.Urban sculptures can be seen everywhere in the public space. But in the course of the development of urban sculptures, there were once a lot of copies of western urban sculptures,resulting in stereotyped urban sculpture designs, and low conception of works. One of important reasons is that the humanistic connotation of these urban sculptures is ignored, and the cultural connotation of the city, where the urban sculptures in, is not be explored. Urban sculptures carry the culture of a nation or region, which desires the creation of urban sculptures beginning with the perspective of local culture.In this article, based on the clear geographical culture and urban sculpture concept, the author first analyzes the geographical culture characteristics in Harbin, including the European culture taking Russia as the main body, which deeply affects Harbin, the historic Jinyuan culture, the passion burning red culture, civic folk culture and the snow culture with national reputation. Based on geographical factors, cultural outlook indicators and cultural identity indicators, the geographical culture characteristics in Harbin are divided by cultural areas, such as the distribution of European culture is distributed in Central Avenue, Garden Street and other historical and cultural districts; Jinyuan culture is distributed in Acheng District and Qunli New District, etc.; red culture is distributed in Provincial Military Region II Sanitarium Urban Conservation Area, and Xiao Hong's Former Residence Historical and Cultural District; folk culture is reflected in Daowai Traditional Market Historical and Cultural District; snow culture is embodied in Zhaolin Park, Sun Island and other areas.Based on the partition of the geographical culture characteristics in Harbin, the author analyzes the typical urban sculpture in each district: analyzes the themes, forms, ornamental characteristics, scales, space, materials and color elements of the representative urban sculptures, such as European culture sculptures, Jinyuan culture sculptures, red cultural sculptures, folk culture sculptures and snow culture sculptures, and summarizes their design principles.In this article, the author designs the sculpture in front of Qunli hall square: analyzes cultural characteristics in Qunli New District in Harbin, designs he sculpture in front of Qunli hall square, and analyzes theme, function and form, ornamental characteristics, site requirements, materials and color of the case, hoping other cities can benefit from the study of the method combining local culture and urban sculpture.
