A Comparative Study Of Harmonious Social Thought Between Confucianism And Marx

This two kinds of thoughts about Confucian harmonious social thought and Marx's harmonious society thought were formed in different backgrounds.The agricultural civilization of feudal period generated the Confucian harmonious social thought,while the industrial civilization gave birth to the Marx's harmonious society thought.They all had the same hope of building a harmonious society.For basing on the different backgrounds lead to the similarities and differences between the Confucian harmonious social thought and Marx's harmonious society thought.The first chapter elaborated the Confucian harmonious social thought,including the background,the philosophical basis,the contents and the approach of Confucian harmonious social thought.The second chapter gave a detailed description about the Marx's harmonious society thought about the realistic basis,the philosophical basis,the contents and the pathway to realize the goal of living a harmonious life.The third chapter made a comparison between the Confucian harmonious social thought and Marx's harmonious society thought.The comparison showed that the similarities and otherness between the two kinds of harmonious social thoughts.The similarities showed that they produced the harmonious social thought based on the facts;they put the thoughts into practice as the overall view of thinking;they all treated human as the foothold;they had the same goal to reach the harmonious society,meanwhile they had the otherness between Confucian harmonious social thought and Marx's harmonious society thought.The difference showed that: the different backgrounds,the different nature of the theory itself,the different approach to keep the society harmonious,and had the different prospects for development.The fourth chapter drawn a revelation,by comparing the two kinds of thoughts.
