Study On Divine Life Of Sir Aurbindo And Its Contemporary Value

Since philosophy appeared,mankind has never stopped thinking and exploration about the universe,nature,life,and never stopped pursuit the knowledge of truth,the meaning of life.The general trend of Aurobindo's philosophy is essentially to the world and the value of life.What Aurobindo think about the world and life is deeply influenced by western philosophy and combined with own traditional culture.During the period of the national liberation movement,its formed his philosophical system,published in his book Life Divine.Basic on the ontology,epistemology,value-practice theory,Aurbindo's view of life divine is a series of philosophical categories such as"brahman","supermind","integral knowledge","harmony" and "moksha".In the study,Aurobindo elaborated his "life divine" ideal and show its inevitability of necessity,thus constructed the theoretical basis of life divine.Basis of this,Aurobindo had criticized the disgrace of material existence about traditional Indian philosophy,put forward the spirit of nature in a certain range which through the elimination of private,practice yoga to achieve the ideal state.Compared with the traditional Indian philosophy,Aurbindo's view of life divine is with a positive attitude to face other outstanding culture,and eliminating the pessimistic negative elements in traditional culture,guiding people to achieve "the spiritual self' at present world.In face of the collision of contemporary philosophy,Aurbindo found a balance between the tradition and modernity,fused classical and modern,religious and scientific.In the critique of modernity,facing of the crisis of western philosophy,he reconstructed his philosophical system by returning to tradition,so that "life divine" is widely circulated in the world.Life divine,with its care for life,the relentless pursuit of the ideal society to give people some inspiration and expectations.
