"BOYA Chinese" And "Developing Chinese" In Primary Materials Comparative Study On Practice

In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, textbook plays an important role.As one of the three elements of the teaching structure, the quality of the teaching material directly affects the teachers’ teaching level. However, practice is the most important, we often say that the language is not the church but the practice, the language skills and functions must be effective training to learn.Yang Huiyuan (2003) describes the role of exercise as follows: First, the role of information sources. She believes that classroom teaching is a system of control information transmission and feedback, which is mainly composed of four parts,including: information sources (teacher and textbook), Information transmission channel(surroundings), Information carrier (teacher), message receiver (student). As an important part of textbook, practice provides students with high quality information, which plays an important role in improving teaching quality. Second, the guiding role. Third, diagnostic role. Students take the practice of the process of the use of knowledge, can be used in the future to lay the foundation for practical use. Last, feedback. Teachers can understand the students through the practice.In this paper,the "Boya Chinese" and "Developing Chinese" as research object, four volumes in total. Besides, Take a detailed classification and analysis of the exercises in the textbook.The five part of this thesis. First, the introduction part, mainly introduces the present situation, purpose and significance of the research. And then, compare the two textbooks from practice instruction and practice exercises. Next, throw out a suggestion on the arrangement of exercises. Last, the shortcomings of the research are expounded.In this paper, I will compare the two textbooks in detail, hoping to provide suggestions and help for the future research.
