The clear water and sky was originally a long lyric aria of the first scene of the opera Pesant takes a wife,in which Xiaoqin came on the stage,and it was called Why my love haven't came back yet then.It's creation,lyrics as well as its variation of the rhythm describe directly and clearly the characters,location,environment,things that happened and emotion,clarifying "what it is".This thesis will do a deeper research and tell "why".For a vocal music learner,if one wants to know better about "how to achieve it",he should not only know exactly the composition,but also the character setting.As long as one grasps the mentality of the character and fit in the story,he can perform it vividly.Without experiencing the story background and real life,performers need to study the mental world of the characters so as to well bridge the time gap from the story background to now,which covers more than half a century.The way to bridge the gap is to use imagination,association,synesthaesia and synasthesia in the field of psychology,and use some examples to demonstrate the importance of the mental world of the characters to the image portray.This thesis does a deep research on the mental world of the characters,elaborating how to reappear the character Xiaoqin,a cute,simple and tough girl.And it shows the importance of the research of the mental world of the character to image portrait,analyzing the mental world of the character in situation,emotion and performance and providing a basis for the research on the mental world of the character.
