A Study On Female Subject Consciousness In Chinese Children's Literature In The New Century

Chinese female children's literature has developed rapidly in the new century.The writers set up the concept of children-based standard,and understand that everything about women remains to be written by women.This article is from the perspective of female subject consciousness,and present the changes of female subject consciousness in chinese children's literature.It discusses the female subject consciousness from three aspects:the spiritual implication,the artistic features and the feminist voice.Female subject consciousness is a core issue in the female literature.It calls for women to be self-conscious and approves women's own ability,knowledge,values.The female subject consciousness in children's literature has experienced awaken,subduction,outbreak in the twentieth century,and become self conscious in the new century.Because of different environment,the female writers present new features that mainly reflect in the diversity of creation,the close connection with daily activities and the impact of commercialization.When the women's subject consciousness awaken,writing has become a means of expressing oneself.Since the study on female writers in the new century is still a blank field,this thesis takes subject consciousness as a breakthrough point and studies systematacially on female children's literature.Through close reading and comparison,summarizing the achievements,characteristics,spiritual implication,aesthetic value and feminist features.The study on female subject consciousness of children's literature in the new century is helpful to guide children become self-reliance and clear gender discrimination as well as establish a harmonious gender relationship.
