| Impressionism has a significant position in the art history,which gets rid of the limitations of traditional painting methods and concepts.It connects the classicism and modernism and turns the art to modern times.Henceforth,the intention of painting changes into ‘describing subjective impressions' from‘recording the objective world',since then art has been going along this way further and further,like a hundred flowers in bloom.The art of animation comes from the art of painting,thus we could see some reference and application of traditional art of painting in the modern animation works.Modern animation industry develops rapidly,people have higher requirements on both the quantity and quality of the animation work.However,on the market,some of the animations works are similar with each other and lack of innovation.In this situation,exploring the application of art style of impression to animation will have a great practical value.Graduation project ‘Reach For The Star' is inspired by impressionism,through analyzing and concluding the theory to guide the practical operation.Combining the animation making and impressionist art style,through practicing himself,the author shows his understanding of impressionism and exploration of animation producing.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the background and significance of selecting this topic,based on this,brings out the contents,purpose and research methods of this study.Secondly,this thesis describes the generation of impressionism and its influence on the art of painting,concludes its unique art style and provides theory support for the ani mation producing practice.Thirdly,this thesis analyzing the creating process of ‘The Star' and brings out the feasibility of impressionist animation producing.Finally,making a conclusion of creation of ‘The Star',the practical result shows that impressionism could enrich the performing forms of the art of animation,and enhance its expressive force,moreover create a new way for the animation design. |
