| The analysis of news discourse has become a major research subject in recent years.Researches both in domestic and abroad has laid a good foundation for the analysis of news discourse,but speak generally,the domestic research is just about the introduction and the research of critical discourse analysis,and it does not form a self-contained or complementary research results for the theory of discourse analysis.Neither the research on the traditional media nor the study on media of international publicity is enough.Most of the studies are based on the perspectives of Journalism and communication,and lack of the study on finding out the embedded ideology by analyzing of the linguistic structure.As a developing country,China needs to build a world-class media to present its voice and to form its own influences on international communication platform,to serve the development of politics,economy,diplomacy and so on.As the the portal of Northwest China,Xinjiang also ushers in a historic opportunity for development,as the economic core zone of New Silk Road Economic Belt,how to do a good job in the international communication to Central Asian countries is very important in serving Xinjiang's development of economy,culture,politics.Printed medium is a kind of traditional medium,but also was given the new responsibilities in the new era under the background of its historical opportunity.Among all the printed media.Landbridge as one of the most representative printed media on behalf of the Xinjiang's cultures that have been spreading to Central Asia countries,since its inception,with its high-end magazine content authorities,speech and emotional depth to read and its resonance between the readers,especially in the issuing country,has great influences in the senior readers.It is very important to find out its language features and the embedded ideology in the news discourse in Landbridge.Based on Van Dijk's theory of the analysis of news discourse,two analytical frameworks were established.Qualitative and quantitative research methods were both adopted in this research.Landbridge is taken as the analytical subject which has the wildest transmission amount and choose 30 commentary news reports from ten books as the analytical materials that were analyzed deeply and specifically from their macro structures to micro structures and to the styles and the rhetoric,and then analyzed the embedded ideology in news discourses in Landbridge in the end.The results show that: 1.The interpretation in the news discourses in Landbridge met the demands in Van Dijk's theory,there is a close relation between the formation of propositions and formed hierarchical theme structures;The categories in the news met the demands in Van Dijk's news schema and the content were completed;News discourses in Landbridge is inclined to use the top-down model,which focus on the themes at the beginning;The interpretations in news discourses in Landbridge had a high objectivity,high authority,high authenticity and high precision.2.It was found that the news discourses in Landbridge had focused on telling the positive things about US rather than the negative things about US and THEM through the use of Van Dijk's ideological tools.It means that Landbridge wants to show a positive and good image of China and Xinjiang to serve the development of economy,politics,etc.This study can enrich the relative data about Cultural Communication,Journalism,Communication-politics,it can also provide relative data and suggestions for China and Xinjiang to do its international publicity work better. |
