Symphony "Ode to Humanism" is Wang ning's fifth symphony works,the work's biggest bright spots include using western symphony genres to express Chinese Confucianism.This dissertation studied " Ode to Humanism " from four aspects including the creation course,philosophy and aesthetics expressed by the lyrics,theme expressed by music form,the influence of the audience and the audience's feedback and so on.Studied about the course of the creation,the first chapter analyzes the background and the reasons of the " Ode to Humanism ",difficulties in the process of composing;concludes various versions and performances.The second chapter mainly analyzes philosophy and aesthetics expressed by the lyrics,and connection between lyrics and literary theme.Such as "to demote the evil to reward good" in "Benevolence" and "righteousness" movement,"social standard" in "the ritual" movement,"nature and humanity" ideology embodied in " Ode to Humanism ".The third chapter mainly discusses aesthetics of the " Ode to Humanism ","moderate","artistic conception" and "intangibility" in genre,instruments,and instruments of music form,on the aesthetic ideology " Ode to Humanism " reflect "depressed" and Beethoven's ninth symphony "great tragedy" embodied in the aesthetic differences.In the fourth chapter,from seven parts of the overture,"REN","YI","LI","ZHI" and "XIN" and finale,analyses Confucius theme,and using of three motivations,quint motive of writing techniques.The fifth chapter focuses on Chinese music elements embodied in western music genre,and compares creative thinking in " Ode to Humanism " and " Das Lied von der Erde ".Chapter 6 focuses on the spreading and accepting of the " Ode to Humanism ",feedbacks among audience with musical profession background and non music profession audience,feedback and conception of music disseminator.
