The Authors Status Study In The Western Theory Of Inspiration

Inspiration is an important academic issue in Western literary theory.It means the criticisms to the literature from the literary critics or the summary to the writer's own writing experience.All of these scattered theory is closely related to the source of the writer's own ability.We could be aware of the status changes of the author from the evolution of the inspiration.In western literary theory,the theory of inspiration is scattered and it's not a whole system.It is not easy to summarize,though it is rich.Especially,as the problem of inspiration is closely geared to the irrationality,it is difficult to conclude it.Therefore,it isn't possible to make a detailed study and build a systematic theory for any theorist.This paper selected three inspiration theory from western literary theories.Through the carding to their inspiration theory,it is possible to show the overview of the theory's development and reveal the changing of the authors' status.I will conclude the creep of the inspiration,summarize the current research to the question of inspiration,and illustrate the causes and significance of the selection in the prefaceI will analyze the pots' subjectivity which is to pass down the wisdom of God by "gods with attached said" and "the poet's generation god speak" from Plato's "inspiration" in the first chapter.In this transferring process,the poet which under the tension of gods and men is an intermediary between god and man.For the poet under the influence of the "remembers",it is normal to desire for true,good and beautiful pursuit,and so to write the trajectory of the poet himself.Through the limitation's defining of the poet's subjectivity,we can prove that the poet's subjectivity is located in the tension between god and men.We can also prove that the medium of the poet is the location of his subjectivity.Therefore,the poet's subjectivity is still in its infancy in this moment.I will demonstrate the status of the author based mainly on the Kant's "genius" in the second chapter.Firstly,I will analyze the inspiration theory embodied in Kant's genius.And it can reveal that Kant's genius transforms the source of the inspiration from some kind of supernatural power to some power which depending on human through the analysis of the reflect of the inspiration in Kant's genius.One the one hand,the shift reflects the poet's awakening subjectivity.On the other hand,it converts the poets from the dependency into subject.And then,I demonstrate the change of the poet status through the demonstration of genius creation ability in the limited range of human intellectual.Finally,through the analysis of the whole in Kant's ideas and concept,I conclude that the ultimate goal of Kant is to lead human into the kingdom of freedom from the state of nature through the inspiration despite that the poet's inspiration comes from the poet's own.Kant's talent showed the life of another kind of fullness for art legislation.In another sense,it led humans to better life.Therefore,the poet's subjectivity is reflected in the tension of nature and freedom in Kant's genius.And it reveals the development of harmony.I will analysis the status of the author from both the Apollo spirit and dionysian spirit of Nietzsche in the third chapter.Firstly,I will analyzes the relationship between the sun-god,wine god and inspiration.It can be pointed that the Apollo spirit and dionysian spirit of Nietzsche are rooted in the Greek's own dual artistic impulse driving the poet write.It belongs to a source of inspiration and it is true that it is the succession and development of the theory of inspiration.Secondly,the article demonstrates that the sun-god artists create beautiful appearance is the process of the poet subjectivity constantly generating process.And then demonstrates that the dionysian artist in the process of destroying sun-god individualized appearance is the process of deconstruction of the poet's subjectivity.After the individual's subjectivity,it will return to the world.Under the push of god's push,Apollo and Dionysus has entered the eternal recurrence.And in this eternal recurrence,Apollo and Dionysus make an alliance which is helpful to create a more powerful.The poet's subjectivity in the eternal recurrence also constantly generated and deconstruction,constantly in the mutual coordination of transcendence.To sum up,through the analysis of western literary theory of the related ideas from the three,we find that the poet's position is changing along with the development of the theory of inspiration and evolution.This change can be divided into three stages which is the subjectivity of the bud,the simple development of subjectivity and the subjectivity of deconstruction and transcending.Each stage in the poet's subjectivity is to some extent limited.Standing in the history of the development theory of inspiration longitudinal perspective,the poet's subjectivity is in constant development.
