The Research On Semantic Generalization Of Modern Chinese Opera Words

This thesis targets on the opera words in the dictionary of Modern Chinese Dictionary(Sixth Edition),Chinese Traditional Opera Dictionary,Chinese Ancient Drama Dictionary and Peking Opera Cultural Dictionary.Then screen and sort out the traditional Chinese opera words by the CCL.We comb the generalization of the characters,summarize the generalization types according to the content of the opera,analyze the degree of generalization from the CCL,and acquire the generalization motivation from the development of opera words.The first chapter mainly introduces the research object of this paper,and summarizes the current research situation of the predecessors that divided into the research of the generalization of words and the generalization of the opera words.It also points out the purpose of this study,the research method,and the source of corpus and so on.The second chapter mainly introduces the generalization of modern Chinese opera words characters.Firstly,the opera words and generalized opera words are defined,and then the generalized opera words are screened,and the words that do not meet the conditions are excluded.We also examine the generalized linguistic features.The syllable of opera words is mainly composed of two syllables.There are some three syllable and four syllable words.Opera words are divided into the phrase and the word.Its part of speech is mainly concentrated in the verb and noun.The third chapter mainly divide the opera words into nine categories that is the role and character class,the performance class,the theater stage class,the drama class,the performance process class,the creative class,the performance class,the music class and other categories.Some of the categories divided into a number of sub-categories.We have an illustrative analysis of the generalization of each sub-category,and found that it presents character of a variety of diversification,generalization of the number of uneven and so on.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the generalization field,the way and the motive of the opera words.It's generalization field is mainly involving sports,politics,military,economic and daily life.The generalization mode mainly divides it into metaphor,metonymy.The metaphor are divided into behavior,character and function.We also analyze the motivations of the generalization of opera words,which are divided into external motivation,internal motivation and cognitive motivation,which help us from a new perspective to understand the opera words.The fifth chapter mainly based on the use of traditional words to distinguish it into four different stages.Besides,we analyze the examples and explore the development of the opera words.
