Li Bai,Gao Shi and Du Fu are the outstanding representatives of poets in Tang Dynasty.But the intricate relationship between the three poets was not comprehensive and profound.On the basis of the previous research results,this thesis aims to make a three-dimensional discussion of the relationship between Li Bai,Gao Shi and Du Fu and the history of their life since An-shi Rebellion by using the methods of text analysis and mutual provement of poetry and history.Through the analysis,it expects to better understand the life experiences and emotional changes of the three great poets,and to analyze the impact of the An-shi Rebellion on the fate and relationship of the poets.The thesis falls into four parts:The introduction summarizes the reason and significance,the literature reviews of the study and the relationship between the three poets before An-shi Rebellion.In the historical background of An-shi Rebellion,this thesis tries to analyze the relationship and the friends-making between the three poets.The overview of the relationship between the three poets before An-shi Rebellion is the foundation of analyzing their relationship after An-shi Rebellion.Chapter one explores Li Bai's attitude towards Gao Shi and Du Fu.Taking Li Bai as center,this part analyzes respectively his attitude towards Gao Shi and Du Fu since An-shi Rebellion.The attitude of Li Bai towards Gao Shi,it mainly centers the event that Li Bai joined the army of King Li Lin and tries to explore the truth of this case.Besides,Li Bai asked help from Gao Shi but Gao Shi did not rescue him,which made Li Bai question his personality and break with him.As for Li Bai's attitude towards Du Fu,it mainly focuses that Li Bai did not send his poems to Du Fu.It analyzes the reason taking account of Li Bai's poems about friendship and the situation when he was in the prison,and explain that Li Bai did not write poems to Du Fu does not mean their friendship broke.Chapter two probes into Gao Shi's attitude towards Li Bai and Du Fu and their relationship change after An-shi Rebellion.This chapter concludes two parts in which the first part is about Gao Shi's attitude towards Li Bai.The first part mainly discusses that political orientation Gao Shi's snobbish personality and self-protection state of mind determined his disregard for Li Bai's help in the historical background of power struggle between Li Longji and Li Heng.The second part concerns Gao Shi's attitude towards Du Fu.In this period,Gao Shi had a passionate help to Du Fu,but Gao Shi also seemed to be cold on Du Fu.Through the interpretation of Gao Shi's poems that were sent to Li Bai,the second part mainly studies the change of Gao Shi's attitude towards Du Fu which is tightly associated with Gao Shi's character and posit on change.Chapter three touches upon Du Fu's attitude towards Li Bai and Gao Shi and their relationship change after An-shi Rebellion.The first part talks about Du Fu's attitude towards Li Bai and points that their same destiny of the victims of the political struggle made Du Fu gradually understand and sympathize with Li Bai.Through the interpretation of Du Fu's poems sent to Li Bai,one can see that Du Fu turned his attitude towards Li Bai from admiration,understanding to sympathy and pity and he defended against an injustice for Li Bai and his miss feeling for Li Bai permeated the whole life.In the second part,Du Fu's attitude towards Gao Shi was discussed.It mentions that in the period of Du Fu's wandering in the Southwest,the gratitude and recognition of helping Gao Shi in life,and the question of his ability of suppressing Sichuan in aspects of politics and the memory of Gao Shi after his death,which is also determined by the affectionate and upright character of Du Fu.
