| Major Depressive Disorder(MDD)is a Affective Disorder. The Clinical manifestation characterized by a significant and persistent depression.Negative cognitive bias and impaired emotional regulation are important factors that contribute to generation and persistence of depression(Campbell-Sills,Barlow,2006;Gross,1995;Kovacs,Joormann,Gotlib,2008;Kring,Werner,2004).Depression(Disorders)patients with the strongest negative cognitive bias is the memory of negative information bias(Blaney P H [references format has no such right],1986;Vrijsen J N,2014).Negative memory bias and impaired emotional adjustment strategies were primarily associated with depressive disorder(Disner et al.,2011;Joormann,2010,Johnstone,2005).However there are many researches is about memory suppression with cognitive bias, and cognitive bias with emotional adjustment. There is no consistent explanation for the cognitive mechanism of the relationship between memory inhibition and emotion regulation about depressed patients. This is the first study using the directed forgetting paradigm to test that the effect of emotional regulation strategies(spontaneous regulation, expression suppression, cognitive reappraisal)on the moderating depression in patients and the emotional memory information suppression. While providing scientific evidence for the morbidity mechanism of depressive disorder,it provides a new perspective for the treatment of depressive disorder. The cognitive strategy is the combination of the directed forgetting paradigm with the emotion regulation strategy, that not only provide new models of the psychological treatment for depressive disorder, but also provide new ideas for the psychological health work of normal people. In this study, the experimental paradigm is word directed forgetting, and the experimental materials is emotional pictures.A total of 43 depressive patients and 48 normal subjects were selected as subjects. They randomly divided into three experiments(spontaneous regulation, suppression of expression, cognitive reappraisal). Each experiment was conducted using 2(instruction type: remember / forget)×2(subject type: normal / depressive)× 2(picture type: neutral / negative)experimental design, and the dependent variable is the difference between the recognition result and the emotional valence.Experimental results show that under spontaneous regulation, depressive patients, like normal individuals, can be directed to forget emotional information, but the ability to deliberately forget is worse than normal individuals.Compared with neutral pictures, the depressive patients are more difficult to directed forget the negative information, but there is no significant difference with normal subjects.Inhibition of expression did not affect directional forgetting for normal individuals and depressed patients, but the effect of emotional about pictures on directional forgetting is disappears.Cognitive reappraisal did not affect the directional forgetting of normal individuals, but the influence of the picture’s emotion on the directional forgetting is disappeared. The effect of directional forgetting in depressed individuals is disappeared.Cognitive reappraisal is better than expression inhibition in emotion regulation.Patients with depression have emotional adjustment deficits and they are not sensitive to negative emotional stimuli. The ability of normal individuals to use cognitive reappraisal to regulate their emotions was significantly better than that of patients with depression. The results of this study show that the cognitive strategy training model is effective, which combines the directed forgetting paradigm with the emotional strategy adjustment. |
