There were a lot of famous painters in Suzhou during the Ming Dynasty.In early Ming Dynasty,Du Qiong,Liu Jue and others painters laid the foundation for the development of Suzhou painting.To the mid-Ming Dynasty,Shen Zhou,Wen Zhengming,Tang Yin and Qiuying on behalf of the "Wumen Painting School",promoted the Chinese painting art to its peak.In late Ming Dynasty,the paintings of Suzhou painters showed the feature of secularization.The painting works of Suzhou painters reflected the Jiangnan people's Daily life in the Ming Dynasty.These paintings mainly depicted labor working,reading and gathering,recreation and various social occupations.It is found that these paintings reflected the changes of daily life in the Jiangnan area during the Ming Dynasty.First of all,the development of handicraft industry and the prosperity of commerce.The next,the change of life interest.People pursued an elegant life.Once again,the recreational activities were increasingly rich,such as travelling,listening to opera,listening to monologue story-telling and so on.Finally,the change of social atmosphere.In early Ming Dynasty,people of Jiangnan advocated the simple style.Until late Ming Dynasty,people's basic necessities broken the class restrictions.The wind of luxury became increasingly prosperous.
