The Mechanism Research On Dynamic Visualization Under The Guide Of Cognitive Schema

The emergence of massive data results in the complexity and diversification of data and leads to the difficulty of data visualization,users can not globally preview visualization via parallel display of complex data,so the dynamic visualization begins to appear and be widely used.However,people's cognition and understanding to dynamic visualization are not deep enough,and cognitive schema can use its characteristics of assimilation and accommodation to help individuals to acquire and cognize knowledge.Therefore,how to use the cognitive schema to help users to understand expressed information of dynamic visualization in a short time is the focus of this study.In order to solve this problem,a dynamic visualization evaluation method based on cognitive schema mechanism is proposed.Firstly,the concept of cognitive schema from the perspective of cognitive psychology and design is combed,leading to the mechanism of cognitive schema for individual memory and puting forward the corresponding cognitive schema conceptual model.Secondly,the concept of dynamic visualization is elaborated and the characteristics of dynamic visualization:timing,migration and interactivity are put forward.According to these characteristics,dynamic visualization is classified from the perspective of design,and dynamic visualization based on time attribute and interactive action are proposed.Then a model of action mechanism of dynamic visualization for cognitive schema based on time step is proposed,which integrates the common points of two types of dynamic visualization and fuses the characteristics of assimilation and accommodation in cognitive schema.Based on the established model,the dynamic elements of dynamic visualization guided by visual channel are constructed and the dynamic visualization application is designed based on simple abstract element,proposing the dynamic elements' design method under the guide of cognitive schema.Finally,the dynamic elements are implanted into the learning memory of the subjects in the form of cognitive schema,and the pattern matching experiment based on cognitive schema is carried out by using the eye tracker.The results show that the difference of dynamic elements will affect the process of cognitive schema for dynamic visualization and the difference can conduct the design of dynamic elements and structure of dynamic visualization.
