The Application Of Decorative Color In Oil Painting

The oil painting which emerged during European Renaissance Period is one of the painting techniques of expression.It uses color to reflect the visual language of a particular substance,which is full of strong expressive power and influence,is also an important art means.For one thing,on the art history decoration color gradually formed its unique artistic style,and is an indispensable element in the art creation.And for another,in impressionism,post-impressionism the development period in particular decoration color has been gradually showing the unique artistic charm and laid a dominant position in this field.This paper starts with Chinese and western decoration culture background,and then focuses on the basic principles of decoration color and the aesthetic expression of color matching.
