Because of the particularity and politics of the context of the times,a large number of Taiwanese novels in 50s are political dependency,which are criticized as formalism writing of no more literature value.But there are some exceptions,50s Taiwanese novels still have a few masterpieces,these novels are different from the "Anti-Communist novels" in the history of literature,both in the subject content and in the use of literary techniques.The paper choose eleven novels which are labeled as "Anti-Communist Novels" by the history of literature,in order to show these novels' historical and literary value.Special to note is that in order to facilitate the writing,the paper choose "the 50s Taiwanese novels" to refer these eleven works,not refer all the 50s Taiwanese novels.These eleven novels are writing about the historical memory,the growth experience and the native land,which are quite different from the official established theme set.There are the scar from the adherents of a former dynasty,difficult growth process and homeland feeling in the 50s Taiwanese novels,which are all the writers'sincere and delicate emotion.We can see writers,different concern orientation about history,gender,nation and culture.In addition,50s Taiwanese novels figured a lot of vivid characters,which are different from conceptual flat characters in the"Anti-Communist Novels";novels' writing focus on the little man of the great age,and show people's vacillation and compromise,sink and disillusionment.50s Taiwanese novels also show the female growth experience,which can break the traditional gender formula/prejudice,or dispel the Grand narrative.This paper choose three standpoint—historical memory,growing narrative and native writing to re-interpret Taiwanese novels in 50s,show novels' historical significance and literary charm,and amend the misreading from the literary history.
