Analyze Relationship Between Kunqu Shui Mo Tune And Bamboo Flute Music

Kunqu Opera is a folk art forms popular in Kunshan,Suzhou in Jiangsu province in the late 14 th century(mid-14 th century)and later developed to various areas in the south of the Yangtze River and even the whole country.On May 18,2001,Kunqu Opera was listed by UNESCO as the first batch of World Intangible Cultural Heritage.“Shuimo” tune is a distinctive form of singing widely used in Kunqu opera with bamboo flute as its main accompaniment of musical instruments.In this paper,the accompaniment score of bamboo flute is the main object of study.The music score of “Shuimo” tune is compared with the accompaniment score of bamboo flute by analyzing their relationship and taking“Lanhuamei” of the “Peony Pavilion”(one of opera sung in southern opera“shuimo” tune)as an example.The unique singing tune in the opera is listed and how the bamboo flute accompaniment should play these tunes is explained in detail with the purpose of clarifying the connection between the “Shuimo” tune shown in Kunqu opera and the accompaniment score of bamboo flute so as to better understand the characteristics of the bamboo flute in accompanying Kunqu opera and find out the law to better inherit and protect this intangible culture heritage.The first chapter is about the analysis on the “Shuimo” tune of Kunqu opera and the accompaniment score of bamboo flute.The purpose of this chapter is to show how the "Shuimo" tune of Kunqu Opera is produced and the relationship between the accompaniment score of bamboo flute and “Shuimo” tune and how the bamboo flute accompany Shuimo tune.The second chapter takes “Lanhuamie” southern opera as an example and analyzes in detail how bamboo flute accompanies "Shuimo" tune taking into consideration of the singing score,bamboo flute accompaniment and band accompaniment score.The third chapter is about the importance of bamboo flute accompaniment in the“Shuimo” tune and summarizes the effect of bamboo flute accompaniment on the“Shuimo” tune of Kunqu opera.
