An Analysis Of Xi Jinping's Ideology Of Rule Of Virtue

General Secretary Xi Jinping said that "A man cannot stand without integrity.A country cannot prosper without integrity." during a Confucius Institute road trip.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the Central Party Central Committee,with general secretary Xi Jinping as the core leader,paid attention to moral construction which play an important role in public governance.Xi Jinping's new ideas on rule of virtue enriched and developed Marxist and pointed out the direction for moral construction in the new era.In Chapter one,the thesis mainly focus on the sources of Xi Jinping's thought on rule by virtue,Xi's new thought was the theoretic based that he sucked up and mixed together predecessors' thoughts essence according to Marx's moral values,China traditional Confucian and Western ethics.Chapter two is the key part of this article and it is discussed on the theoretical connotation of Xi Jinping's rule of virtue.Firstly,we discuss the importance on moral construction from two different perspectives: the relationship between morality and human,the relationship between morality and nation.Secondly,It sums up the standard system of moral construction for “To cultivate the moral self,regulate the family,maintain the state rightly and make all peaceful”with rule of virtue thought and the practical path of implementation.Finally,from four aspects of personal virtue promotion,family virtue inheritance,professional ethics construction and social morality construction,this paper discusses Xi Jinping's understanding of the concrete practice path of the rule of virtue.The third part analyzes the theoretic and practical significance of Xi Jinping's thought about rule of virtue.Theoretically,the thought about rule of virtue inherit and develop Marx's theory and China traditional virtue.In practice,it clarify the direction and thinkis for moral constrution.
