The period of Ming and Qing Dynasty was the period of Chinese Buddhism from prosperity to decline,in this period,Mount Huangshan Buddhism experienced the historical process of development,prosperity and decline.This paper intends to explore the the origin of huangshan mountain and evolution of Mount Huangshan Buddhism from the perspective of time and space.The first chapter introduces the religious development in Mount Huangshan historical period and discusses the origin of Mount Huangshan.And how to transform the Taoist immortal mountain into a famous buddhist mountain,roughly combing the historical development of Buddhism in Mount Huangshan;In chapter 2,the historical process of the restoration of Mount Huangshan temple was restored from the perspective of time,and the spatial distribution of monasteries in the Ming and qing dynasties was studied;The third chapter is about the distribution state of Mount Huangshan monks and their native place;The fourth chapter of the Ming and Qing Dynasties visit Mount Huangshan and stay associated with the Mount Huangshan Buddhist poetry scholar statistics,in order to explore the social influence of Buddhism in Mount Huangshan during the Ming and Qing dynasties.From time point of view,history of the South song Yuanjia period.the eastern monk came to Huangshan stationed.During the Tang and Song Dynasties,Buddhism developed continuously in Huangshan.The end of the Yuan,the decline of Buddhism,Temple destruction serious.During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty,Pumeng monks opened mountain,Huangshan Buddhism developed day by day,tending to the heyday?This time,huangshan building a large number of monasteries,attracting a large number of senior monks came to Huangshan stationed,coming to Huangshan to visit the Buddhist scholars also rapidly increased.Early Qing Dynasty,the Ming Dynasty the legacy of the influx of Huangshan,shave for the monk,promote the development of Huangshan Buddhism,mainly manifested in frequent expansion and reconstruction of monasteries,to increase the number of scholars in Huangshan.In the middle and late Qing Dynasty,due to the destruction of war,economic difficulties,frequent natural disasters,serious damage to Huangshan monastery,a large number of monks stationed in tin,few scholars to visit Huangshan,Huangshan Buddhism gradually decline.From the perspective of space it is possible to explore the geographic problems of the Huangshan Buddhism in the Ming and Qing Dynasties from the spatial distribution of monasteries and monks as well as the origin distribution of scholars from Huangshan.Before the Ming Dynasty,Huangshan Monastery was built under Huangshan Mountain and near Taiping Jiao Village,Pumen opened after the mountain the initial opening of four mountain roads:South road hot springs to North Sea,North road pine Valley nunnery to Tianhai,East road bitter bamboo creek to North Sea,West road fishing bridge to hot springs.Due to the early development of the North and South road and more scenic spots along the road.during the Ming and Qing dynasties,the Buddhist temple in the yellow mountains mostly concentrated on the South road and North road.During the heyday of Buddhism in huangshan in the Ming and Qing dynasties,the "four great jungles" were formed,centered on xiangfu temple,ciguang temple,cuiwei temple and zhibo temple.The scholars of Huangshan in Ming Dynasty were concentrated in the area of Nanzhili,Anhui,Jiangsu,and Zhejiang in Qing Dynasty.This article through to the Ming and Qing Dynasties Mount Huangshan Buddhism development context in order to explore the historical geography related issues,and to explore the social and cultural influence of Buddhism in Mount Huangshan,will help to further deepen people especially during the Ming and Qing Dynasties cognitive of Buddhism in Mount Huangshan in the historical period,the preservation of Mount Huangshan Buddhist culture has certain academic significance and practical value at the same time help China historical geography of religion and science research to fill the gap.
